Join holistic childcare expert, Eden Grace Murray + somatic herbalist & medicine farmer, Marae Dalgas in a hands on summer camp learning medicine making and connecting with plants! We will host sessions on a 1/4 acre operating herb farm where little ones will have the opportunity to get their hands in the dirt and to make their own remedies amongst the babbling creek and local fauna.

Location: Viriditas Apothecary & Farm, 542 Latoria Road
Dates: Saturdays (May 28th, June 18th, July 23rd, August 20th)
Time: 10am-4pm
Ages: 5-8

May: Herb Propagation & Fae Gardens
We will be learning about plants associated with Faeries that are beneficial to native pollinators. While bewildering at the farm garden, we'll cover the life cycles of plants and sewing seeds. Kiddos will go home with a plant start, seeds, and a hand made willow bench to create their own Faerie garden!

June: Flower Essences & Plant Spirit Meditations
We will be exploring heart centred ways of listening to the subtle energy of plants, designed for kids. Within this practice we will be discussing the boundaries of self and other-an important discussion for the new sensitive buds of our time. Everyone will get to choose a plant at the farm and make a flower essence to take home.

July: Herb Infused Oils & Nervous System Regulation
We will be making farm-grown lavender infused oil to take home, and be exploring somatic practices to calm the nervous system. Kids will learn how to create safety in their body through the plant world. We will be joined by RMT Madison Simpson who will teach the little ones self-massage practices for relaxation.

August: Flower Crowns & Sacred Belonging
We will be weaving flower crowns with rosemary, fresh farm flowers, stories of deep remembrance & belonging. Belonging to the natural world, belonging to the cycles of the seasons, belonging in our bodies, belonging within our community. We will finish the series with a picnic celebration and blessing for their school year!

We will provide light snacks but will ask that participants come prepared with packed lunch and water for the day. Upon purchase we will email a registration package. Please let us know of any pre-existing health conditions or allergies upon registration.
